Privacy at PairPlay

PairPlay works best when both people feel safe playing honestly. We design the platform to collect as little as practical and keep private answers out of shared results.

What we collect

We collect the names or nicknames you enter, game activity and results, basic device and network security signals, and subscription status. Couple Court also collects email addresses, the case topic, and each person’s private testimony.

How we use it

We use this information to run games, create and secure cases, enforce free-play limits, deliver results, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, detect abuse, and improve reliability.

Passwordless membership access

Your Stripe Checkout email is the identity for PairPlay+. On a new device, you can request a single-use sign-in link sent to that email. Recovery requests are rate-limited and recorded using hashed email, device, and network signals; the raw recovery token expires after 15 minutes and is not stored.

Private answers and testimony

Your partner does not receive private Couple Court testimony. Shared game results contain the names and final score or ruling, never the private answers, testimony, or email addresses used to create them.

Retention and deletion

Two-name play sessions and private testimony are removed after 30 days. Shared results, subscription records, and anti-abuse records may remain until you request deletion or they are no longer needed for fraud prevention, billing, or legal obligations.

Your choices

You can request access or deletion by emailing privacy@pairplay.io. Transactional case and membership messages do not enroll you in marketing.
