Playful cases only
When not to use Couple Court
Couple Court is for everyday disagreements: chores, planning, habits, date nights, communication mix-ups, and the small things couples can safely laugh about.
Leave the game when safety is involved
Do not use Couple Court for abuse, coercive control, stalking, threats, violence, self-harm, legal emergencies, medical emergencies, or any situation involving a minor. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency services.
Trust your instincts
A playful verdict should never pressure someone to remain in an unsafe situation, apologize for being harmed, or ignore professional help.
