PairPlay Terms
These terms apply when you use pairplay.io. By starting a game, joining an invite, or buying PairPlay+, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms.
A couples game platform
PairPlay provides local pass-and-play and online games for consenting adults. Scores, comparisons, and Couple Court verdicts are playful entertainment—not objective truth, therapy, counseling, legal or medical advice, crisis support, or a substitute for professional judgment.
Free play and fair use
Eligible couples can try a limited sample of each game and one completed Couple Court verdict. PairPlay may use email, device, pair, cookie, and network signals to enforce limits, protect the service, and prevent misuse.
PairPlay+
PairPlay+ costs $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year. It unlocks unlimited gameplay, the full game library, premium modes, new games, and future features, subject to reasonable fair-use and service availability limits. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel through the PairPlay+ account page; access normally continues through the paid billing period. Refunds are handled as required by applicable law and the terms shown at checkout.
Membership access
Access is linked to the email used at Stripe Checkout. Passwordless recovery links are private, short-lived, and must not be forwarded. One membership is intended for the connected couple and may not be resold or shared as a public account.
Your content and invitations
You keep ownership of the names, photos, answers, testimony, and other content you submit. You give PairPlay the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and transmit that content only to operate and secure the feature you chose. Only submit content you are allowed to use. You are responsible for sending online room, case, and result links only to intended recipients.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate someone, harass or threaten anyone, expose another person's private information, interfere with the service, evade usage limits, scrape content, or attempt unauthorized access. Do not use PairPlay for abuse, coercive control, stalking, violence, self-harm, crimes, emergencies, or disputes involving minors. See our Safety guidance.
Third-party services
Some features depend on services such as Stripe for payments, Google Maps Platform for interactive street imagery, and Wikimedia Commons for openly licensed fallback location photos. Their own terms, licenses, and privacy policies also apply when their services load or process information.
Availability and changes
We work to keep PairPlay fast and available, but games, questions, photos, maps, providers, and features may change, pause, or fail. We may suspend access that threatens users or the service. If a paid service changes materially, we will provide any notice or remedy required by law.
Responsibility
To the extent allowed by law, PairPlay is provided without guarantees that every game, result, map, or partner interaction will be accurate or suitable for your situation. PairPlay is not responsible for decisions made from game results or for content shared outside the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
